Dometic 2/3 Way RV Parts Refrigerator Control Board

The 3850415.01 circuit board is designed to replace part number 3850415-xxx Dometic Black Box Boards. This replacement should not be used for any other Black Box Board part numbers. The 3850415.01 is intended as a REPLACEMENT for PREVIOUSLY PROPERLY INSTALLED 3850415.01 circuit boards, and should be used with their 2-way and 3-way kits.

In GAS mode with NO FLAME SENSE, the ignition sequence operates as follows: 1) 1st "45" second ignition try - turn ON check light; 2) "2" minute wait - turn OFF check light; 3) 2nd "45" second ignition try - turn ON check light; 4) "2" minute wait - turn OFF check light; 5) 3rd "45" second ignition try - turn ON check light; 6) "30" minute wait with the check light ON; 7) Turn check light OFF and repeat steps 1-5. The check light will reset if the refrigerator is turned OFF and back ON, or if a different mode is tried and returned to GAS mode.

In GAS mode, if a flame is sensed on any ignition try, the entire "3 try" sequence of steps 1-6 will be reset.

In "DC" mode with AES or AMES eyebrows, the DC mode will be functional when 12V DC+ is present. If the DC voltage falls below 11.0V for 10 seconds or more, either while cooling or not, the DC mode light will begin to FLASH and the DC element will be disconnected or inhibited from operating. The refrigerator itself remains undisturbed, but DC operation cannot be reestablished until the DC voltage rises above 13.2V for 10 seconds or more.

The 3850415.01 Circuit Board features a built-in ignitor, 2-way or 3-way operation, fuse protection, and variable temperature adjustment for fixed-temp refrigerators. The check light indicates when ignition tries have failed to sense a flame, and the 3-try ignition cycle repeats at 30 minute intervals if no flame is sensed. In 3-way models, the DC element will drop out and the DC mode light will flash if the voltage level falls too low for more than 10 seconds.
